Merriam Sarcia Saunders, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, certified custody mediator, Clinical Trauma Professional, and ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD & Autism). Merriam works both as a custody mediator and also with adults and families managing an ADHD or Autism diagnosis. With three young adult children of her own managing varying diagnoses, Merriam greatly relates to the challenges of parenting children with differences.

Merriam is the author of five books, including the acclaimed ADHD-focused children’s books, My Wandering, Dreaming Mind and My Whirling, Twirling Motor - which received a starred review from School Library Journal – and the middle school novel Trouble with a Tiny t. She also authored Divorce & & the ADHD, Autistic, Anxious Child and Mindfulness Meditations for ADHD.
