Dr. Christine Grove is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, academic and Fulbright Scholar with an extensive record in practice and research. Currently, she holds the position of Vice-Chancellor Research Fellow in the STEM College at the School of Health & Biomedical Sciences at RMIT, which is funded with her Fulbright Fellowship. She is as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University and is a fellow of the Australian Psychological Society and College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists. She previously served as Treasurer for the Victorian State Committee from 2020-2022. She is also a member of the American Psychological Society, Division 7 (Developmental Psychology) and Division 15 (Education Psychology). With over a decade of experience as a psychologist, Dr. Grove is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of the next generation, particularly in workplaces, educational settings, and community organisations. Her clinical knowledge is informed by her research interests, which have garnered her over AUD 6 million in funding and 15 awards for excellence in mental health and education research. Dr. Grove collaborates with key stakeholders to tackle critical challenges in child, adolescent, and adult psychology, with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and the assessment and management of mental health disorders. Her research team is dedicated to improving primary prevention of illness, reducing health-related risks, and ultimately enhancing mental health literacy among the population. Dr. Grove’s research also focuses on leveraging technology advances to address gaps in healthcare services. Dr. Grove’s clinical training and educational expertise in lifespan development underpin her research and clinical practice. She provides private consultations in schools, workplaces, and community organisations, and she is also a board-accredited supervisor, providing supervision for psychology registrars, allied health professionals, and educators.
