Julianna Elsworth, MSW, LCSW, has dedicated her career as a psychotherapist, educator, and advocate to individuals who have endured trauma. She has extensive experience educating professionals who work with trauma survivors, including providing agency wide residential treatment trainings and for teachers in the Syracuse City School District. Julianna has worked in numerous settings across the social work field, including psychiatric inpatient hospitals, adolescent residential treatment, and as an adjunct professor for the MSW program at Syracuse University.
Julianna currently works with children, adolescents, adults, and families as an outpatient private practice therapist in Charlotte, NC. Her specialties include complex trauma, sexually reactive behaviors in childhood, depression, anxiety, behavioral problems, and high-conflict families. Anastasia Harmeyer, MSW, LCSW, LCAS, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s master’s program in social work. She also has a master’s in criminal justice and completed her undergraduate degree in criminology and sociology with a minor in psychology at The Ohio State University. She is a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed clinical addictions specialist in the state of North Carolina. Anastasia decided to pursue her master’s in social work after working with adolescents in the criminal justice system and recognizing the significance of therapeutic services.
She has also had the opportunity to serve as the clinical director of a community mental health and substance abuse organization, run full-fidelity DBT groups, and work as a trainer for PESI, facilitating two-day intensive DBT trainings. Anastasia is currently an outpatient therapist at Calming Waters Counseling Services in Charlotte, NC. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults with borderline personality disorder, addiction, complex trauma and PTSD, relational conflict with couples and families, self-harming behaviors, and suicidality. She is trained in DBT and EMDR and is a certified clinical supervisor for provisionally licensed LCSWs. She is passionate about providing a supportive and validating therapeutic environment to assist her clients in building skills, balancing acceptance and change, and meeting their goals.
